Obviously, there is no definitive proof right now. But Trump being a Russian asset is the theory that best fits the available evidence by a very wide margin.

How is past military spending related to Donald having been recruited by Russia in the 80's. Even his current wife is the daughter of a party operative. Being a member of the communist party back then wasn't like registering as a Democrat.
