Refusing to use nail polish remover to clean off permanent marker because that's "for women". It's acetone, my dude, acetone.

[–] aksdb@feddit.de 0 points 11 months ago

You don't use nail polish remover because it makes you gay, I don't use nail polish remover because it makes me a Nazi. We are not the same.

Guys who refuse to wash their arse because it’s “gay”.

The sheer amount of self-hatred, insecurity and homophobia caused by toxic masculinity and shitty upbringings is astounding that you’d rather have swamp ass than be worried you’re gay.

[–] shinigamiookamiryuu@lemm.ee 1 points 11 months ago

Proof homophobes are full of shit.

Besides physical violence, the most absurd thing I've seen was a man who bought a car after his wife pleaded not to because it would bankrupt them. He didn't like that she was "telling him what to do." They had two perfectly fine vehicles btw.

Bankruptcy is so alpha male

See a doctor. Well stupid, that "excema" is a massive tumor breaking through the wall of your abdomen that could have been cured. But Mr. Manbaby did think only woman, babies and gays go to the doctor and even less to one that might remotely has treating assholes (physical ones, not personality wise) in his portfolio.

But when we told him that he definitely has only days, if not only hours, then of course it was everyone else's fault, mostly his wife's. In the end he died the same night. As he repeatly beat his wife while in hodpital and sexually insulted nurses none was really sorry.

Generally men often refuse to go to the doctor, but that fuckhead was thr cherry on top.

Ordering a dessert. We were at an ice cream café and my coworker couldn't decide which ice cream dish to order because he thought they all looked "too girly" and would make him seem gay.

Basic hygiene.

cause being clean was for women and (insert homophobic slur here)

He only "cleans" himself like twice a year, and even then under protest and not fully, because the doctor told him he wont be let in the building if he came in dirty and smelling like BO and shit anymore.. and that cleaning is basically a 5 minute shower where he rubs a cloth under his arm pits.

[–] LaunchesKayaks@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Is the twice a year an exaggeration, or does he actually only shower every six months...?

[–] philpo@feddit.de 0 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

As a paramedic: It's an exaggeration that he showers that often.

You wouldn't believe how little hygiene mentally "somewhat stable" patients sometimes have.

I really really really would like to say that I only saw one human being fused to his/her seat/bed while having no reason to not get up. But...I saw it multiple times. It's bad enough when it's due to mental or bodily issues.. But "voluntarily"?

The worst I have heard was when my husband's old boss was proudly bragging about how he didn't even leave work to be with his wife while she was giving birth to their first child.

He honestly believed that was something to be proud of.

We live in Australia too, so it's not like he had American orphan crushing machine to blame. He was just a horrible piece of shit.

I'm American and the last two lines killed me 😂

[–] Diplomjodler@feddit.de 0 points 11 months ago

What are you doing here? Get back to work, slacker! There's still a pile of orphans to crush!
