The day the Christmas music is no longer playing everywhere. I don't dislike Christmas as much as I used to but I still prefer it in short bursts only on the 24th and 25th.

Christmas music generally annoys the hell out of me too, at least the traditional kinds. Choral music, Mariah Carey, it fills me with rage, oddly enough.
I will share links for some styles of Christmas music I do enjoy.
There’s a guy who does a lot of Jazz loves Hip Hop mashups, including this one of Christmas standards This one used to be on YouTube, which is where I originally found it.
There’s a guy who does metal covers of Christmas standards
Mariah Carey in the style of Tool
Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer in the style of KoЯn
Afroman released A Colt 45 Christmas, which is hilarious & hilariously profane.
There’s a different guy who does metal covers of all kinds of music, including Christmas. Here’s a link to a playlist of his.
Here's a similar Christmas song I wouldn't mind hearing more of:
Omg the Tool and KoЯn songs especially made my day - thanks for sharing!:-)
The sweet release of death, I guess?
I’m looking forward to spending the 25th watching funny Christmas movies.
Congrats! If you (or anyone else) is interested btw, there's !stopdrinking@lemmy.world
Right now, excited about Christmas markets. I rarely actually buy anything, but I love poking around them
Hoping sibling works Christmas, as it's extra pay. They also would get out early so dinner would still be at a reasonable time.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with family! It's always fun to catch up with relarives that are usually out of state.
No family is perfect but I know some people have crazy dysfunctional extended family situations so I am very fortunate and grateful for them
PieFed and Lemmy getting better? Damn perhaps I should widen my worldview. (j/k, except I should actually do that yes:-P)
