Welcome to Russia, where justice is arbitrary and the fines are made up

It's super made-up. Converted to USD it's uhhh... $20 with 34 zeros behind it. A quadrillion piles of a quadrillion bucks each would still be less than 1% of what they're asking for lol

So on a serious note that translates to about 20 decillion dollars. Aka 20 billion trillion trillion dollars. For reference the entire global GDP is about 110 trillion dollars. So Russia is asking about 200 million trillion times as much as the entire global GDP

Now that the russians have discovered the exponential function, please don't tell them that it doesn't make sense to apply it everywhere.

What is the endgame here? They aren't getting that money, if only for the fact it doesn't exist, and Google has no incentive to comply. This just looks like an attempt at dick swinging gone wrong.

Google writes the check and leaves it with the front secretary for Putin to come pick (and then arrest)

How much is that in Schrute bucks?

[–] Gork@lemm.ee 9 points 3 weeks ago

So 2,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollary-doos.

Totally reasonable.

The grandmother of a friend always used to say - wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one is filled first.
