For those of us with no idea who Skydance media is, they’re produced films like

  • Some of the new Star Trek films
  • New Terminator films
  • New Top Gun
  • New Mission Impossible Films

For those keeping score, Skydance deal was on, then off, now back on again as of 7/2 dateline on linked story.

And now Barry Diller is reportedly interested in Paramount as well.
