Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.

The following things are not grounds for murder:

Rules:

  1. Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
  2. Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
  3. No bigotry of any kind.
  4. Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
  5. If you break the rules you’ll get one warning before you’re banned.
  6. Enjoy the community in the light hearted way it’s intended.

If I had to guess, the person got their panties so twisted and bunched up, they didn't realize the video had already changed when they hit "submit comment" and posted it to the next one in queue.

I've had that happen once or twice while commenting on something, just without all the homophobia and anger.

It's because his shirt has rainbow colored lightning bolts on it. Homophobes are terrified of rainbows.

Holy shit that's such a small thing I didn't even notice until just now.

I shouldn't be surprised, my brother in law flipped his shit when his kids wouldn't stop sending the word "color" on their family group chat because rainbows fly around the screen. Went on a big tirade about how nobody should be "celebrating the 7 sins"

If I had been present, I'd love to have asked him to clarify which of the sins he means, because I have a good idea but I want him to say it out loud so I can argue about it.

In gonna guess it’s a bot comment. Faschies and their gross pets use bots to spread shitty sentiments (like homophobia) and try to make them seem more popular than they are.

Is the answer to spread homoerotic commentary by bot?
I don’t know how to do bots, nor am I included on any of the rainbow agenda email lists, but I got no problems being a slutty slut slut slut for equal rights.

Automation should be used to do work nobody else wants to do. This proposed application is inconsistent with that aim.

You got me on that.

Edit: Except for the use case of being sluttier faster!

Video and comment.

Side note, that guy has a great channel. He talks about electrical engineering and other stuff he's autistic about (in the best way possible) and you can tell he's genuinely really excited to share his knowledge of interesting things with people who are as interested as he is. Almost all of his videos start with "Wanna see something cool?" Def worth a follow

I subbed thinking this dude has a fun science channel. But he'll let loose with some gems like "as blunt as the head of my dick" when he talks about cutting nails with his wire cutters.

I keep getting recommendations for them, and those little comments really put me off.

[–] FiskFisk33@startrek.website 2 points 3 months ago

fair enough, but I find them funny.

And that's pretty cool.
