Rules:

3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.
Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
But who would run? Harris? She can’t beat Trump. The Dems would have to pull another Obama out of their hat, and I don’t think one exists. Bernie’s too old for another go. No one likes Warren. Pete is gay (too many haters).
Newsom? Whitmer? Klobuchar? Booker?
That's what primaries are for.
Unfortunately, Biden and the DNC didn't feel that aspect of party democracy was convenient for them this year, so...well, here we are.
The primaries aren’t going to help if there isn’t a person who can beat Trump.
Trump isn't some mythical Boogeyman who only Biden can beat. That's not my gut feeling, that's what the recent electoral results and polling data shows us.
But putting that aside, that doesn't mean the DNC should be rigging primaries because they think they know best. That's how Trump won in 2016, and why we just witnessed Biden sun downing on a debate stage.

I don't mean by literally stuffing ballots, but via mostly boring administrative and bureaucratic maneuvering. Although, some state Democratic parties did actually cancel their Presidential primaries entirely, which frankly should be illegal.
Nothing I'm saying is breaking news. This was covered at the time, and has seen a small resurgence in coverage since the debate.

See, this confuses me. I'm not saying you're wrong, I mean there must be a reason Biden came out on top in the 2020 primaries, but all the time liberals tell me they would vote for a houseplant over Donald Trump. Literally any Democratic candidate would pass the test of not being Trump, so why couldn't any candidate win?
Solid blue will vote solid blue. The election isn’t determined by those people. It’s determined by swing states. Lots of people just don’t vote if they don’t like their options. Those votes matter.
