I MUST GO TO THE SKATEBOARD PARK AND TELL PEOPLE TO STOP HAVING FUN.
One thing is for sure, emotional means bad and must be dismissed.
On the post image, Knowing Animals Podcast: Episode 58: Animal Rights in Palestine and Israel with Esther Alloun
This episode of Knowing Animals features Esther Alloun from the University of Wollongong. We discuss her article ‘’That’s the beauty of it, it’s very simple!’ Animal rights and settler colonialism in Palestine–Israel’ which appeared in the journal Settler Colonial Studies in December 2017.
Thanks for sharing this, I just ripped the image haha
I'm finding the lemmy users who leave shitty comments and argumentative bullshit more and more tiring.
Even without Lemmy World the debbie downers find their way over. I hope it's not too much to manage recently.
There was one user in some of the LW posts that blew up recently who was so annoyingly wrong in the most pedantic manner, but they were also prolific. It's exhausting disproving wave after wave of BS. It always takes more effort to show why something makes no sense than to say something that makes no sense.
I'm smoking weed about it.
Probably more constructive than engaging with them tbh
This isn't vegan related but was wondering if anyone here has read "A History of Modern Iran" by Ervand Abrahamian and could share some thoughts on it? Saw this book get recommended over on Lemmygrad a while ago and have read the first couple of chapters so far.
I would love to read it and will get a copy and host it on the veganhomecooks nextcloud for us at c/bookclub
we were doing monthly books but I think I want to change it around
For the animals!
Autumn is starting where I live. It sucks, my least favorite part of the year. Late summer is cool though
