There’s so much expectation and trust put upon terrestrial pets. The only pet that I haven’t asked something to the effect of “why would you do that?” or “what did you expect to happen?” was a goldfish. RIP Goldie. Your only mistake was naïveté to cannibalism.

I would never be able to take such a picture of my dog. He would be ferociously licking the tiny bit of delicious food that he not allowed to have off of his back.
Those eyes are definitely saying, "How could you do this to me?"
Everyone of my dogs know the command, "get out of the kitchen"
Mine knows it and doesn't listen (we don't try hard enough)
I used to throw kibble and say it and celebrate when they leave.
He really likes being around his people so I feel bad kicking him out. Luckily he mostly stays out of the way.
Somehow It never occurred to me that people other than me say that exact thing to their dog
It's the fourth command every dog owner should teach. Save those puppy toes!
