It's decent especially if you have watched The Clone Wars and Rebels. It has some really cool moments but I felt the finale was a low point.

I watched the movie of clone wars not the cartoon...and is rebels a cartoon?
Both are animated shows, Clone Wars is 7 seasons long and a movie, Rebels is 4 seasons long and is a semi-sequel but not really. Both shows start off aimed at young teens but both become much more mature and honestly both are highlights of Disney Star wars. If people are interested in Disney EU it's definitely worth checking out both

There are lists you can follow online for the relevant plot lines connected to The Mandalorian and Ahsoka. You don’t have to watch all of clone wars. You could potentially get away with not watching all of Rebels but that is a different type of show.
I really enjoyed it, but it got a lot of hate online for some reason lol There were parts of it that I didn't love, but overall it was pretty good and I'll probably watch season 2 when it comes out
As a casual Star Wars fan, it was entertaining. The reluctant master-apprentice relationship was at times annoying, but I think that reinforced the issues happening with the relationships on screen.
I enjoyed, not the best thing I've ever watched but worth your time, in my opinion.
I liked it, but it heavily relies on you knowing who Thrawn is and why he is important. My biggest complaint is that Filoni just does not understand Thrawn as a character, but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the show for me.
It depends on your level of attachment to certain Star Wars things. I showed my wife both Ahsoka and Andor, and she really liked Ahsoka (Having never watched anything related to the cartoons) more than Andor.
Some fans of the cartoons felt the characterization of Ahsoka on the show was off. If you’re someone who goes along for the ride, you may enjoy it. If you’re the type of person that likes explanations, you may need to also watch the cartoon content (It helped my wife when I explained certain things as well). I watched the cartoons and had much appreciations for he characters and seeing how they finally came to life on the screen.
Aside from that, there are also some questionable plot choices and pacing. But that can be said of many things, even outside of star wars.
I didn't watch it myself, but from reviews I heard online, it sounded like they were playing a bit fast and loose with what it means to be force sensitive, as well as some characters acting forcibly dumb. I'll watch it only if the second season gets better reviews.
It's only fast and loose to people that haven't ever ventured into the extended universe.
Force sensitive doesn't mean being overly powerful and able to weld the force like magic. That's just all they show in the films, so that's all that most people see.
There are a lot of examples of force sensitive individuals in extended universe materials that cannot wield the force in a "traditional" manner like the trained Jedi in the films.
As for dumb characters, that's also debatable, and I think it's more dumb viewers not understanding context. For instance, a lot of people think stormtroopers have terrible aim. Despite being directly told by Obi Wan Kenobi that they are great shots. They cite their poor aim on the Death Star, where they are actually driving the heroes back to their ship to escape. A ship that has a tracking device on it so the Empire can follow it back to the rebel base. Which we are also told directly by Vader and Tarkin. And those are overt situations where the viewer is told what is happening yet people miss it entirely somehow.

Everyone always points to the one clearly fan service line tossed into a spinoff TV series clearly meant as a joke, while ignoring all other evidence from the movies and dialogue from primary characters where there clearly isn't a joke being made.
Obi Wan Kenobi says, "These blast points are too accurate for sand people. Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise."
As the rebels escape the Death Star, Governor Tarkin and Darth Vader have the conversation:
Governor Tarkin: "Are they away?"
Darth Vader: "They just made the jump into hyperspace."
Governor Tarkin: "And you're sure the homing beacon is secure onboard their ship? I'm taking an awful risk, Vader. This had better work."
Leia even calls it out after they escape, even with all of the fighting we see on screen:
Princess Leia: "They let us go. It was the only reason for the ease of our escape."
Han Solo: "Easy? You call that easy?"
Leia: "They're tracking us."
Clearly, she also thought the stormtroopers' sudden ineptitude was suspicious.
Let's give them even more credit. It takes very good skills to act like you're shooting at someone but not hit them at some point. Add shooting at the Falcon but knowing where to aim to not disable it, both in the hanger and the TIEs. Hell, those TIE pilots might have known that it was a suicide run, being told by maybe Vader himself to give them a chase, but you better not win.
I watched it and pretty much forgot about it until this post.

Yeah I very much enjoyed it, if you liked Mandalorian you'll like it. Though you have to have seen Rebels I think to really get it. Which is a bit of a slog of the first season in particular.

So peak Ahsoka is the Clone Wars cartoon final four episodes.
It's worth watching some before the finale just so you get a sense of character growth that leads into that finale, but if you only ever watched the finale it's fine.
Chronologically speaking I do need to acknowledge Tales of a Jedi. It's a great watch but we're talking live action so I'm moving on.
Anyway did I say live action? Sorry I meant Rebels. Rebels is the next character arc for Ahsoka. It's a great story for her but given that she isn't the main focus isn't really her story. It's still a big role, but it isn't her story.
Then we get to live action Ahsoka, but not her own show. First she shows up in The Mandolorian. It's here that we get her next arc. This arc is a precursor to the live action Ahsoka show. Mando is worth watching no matter what, so watch that, get a little extra Ahsoka.
OK. Wow. Now it's time to put the Ahsoka show in context. If you're feeling a little exhausted right now then the show might not be for you. If you've followed along with me, either in full or in part, now things get exciting. The show gives us the beginning of a new arc for Ahsoka. Eventually I'm going to be able to just say "Give it a watch, you won't regret it", but we're not there yet. Season 1 gets us started, but the season is going to end a little weak. It feels both a little slow and a little rushed, but it's a good start.
So should you watch Ahsoka? If you feel like it, but if you want to wait that's fine too.
