Even when you manufacture a weapon to specifically function below water, 30m meters is the longest range at 5m depth.
That’s plenty of range to kill a swordfish, which swims slower than the superior gunfish.

Marine biologists cringing at the forced joke when the ocean has actual Pistol Shrimp that work very much like you’d expect.
Can't that fucker generate heat as hot as the surface of the sun for a split second? We're lucky this gun toting animal never evolved smarts.
Why haven’t we harnessed their power for fusion? I can see a line of little pistol shrimp repeatedly punching an atom to fuse matter together and creating infinite energy.
