I watched the movie "Enemy of the State" the other day. It was released in 1998, but it was a true prediction of the future.

I went to see this movie in the theater with a friend and his father, who was ex-NSA and never spoke about his job.

The only thing his father had to say about the film was "that film roughly approximated our tech about fifteen years ago, it is more advanced now."

EDIT: edited for clarity

I looked at your other comments on lemmy for 30 sec and found that you are clearly joking. So glad everyone understands sarcasm.

Let's apply this to politicians who approve it and to corporate owners who push it. Suddenly it's a problem

So, every "intelligence agency" should release all information that exists about their entire surveillance apparatus, all of their spies, and activities? I'm on board!

Also, post a link to a 24/7 stream of your bathroom. If you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to fear... right?

I don't. But maybe evilcorp knows better how and why.
