This is the same for a majority of brand names historically considered "premium" (tools, electronics, etc). The brand gets bought explicitly to bleed it dry by aggressively cost cutting and outsourcing to make a massive short term gain; until enough people learn the brand has been poisoned and raped.

The Democrats are only sucking Israel's dick by proxy. They're actually just sucking the dick of the military industrial complex, because America is a corporate plutocracy masquerading as a democracy.

Israel's just a long time benefactor of, and contributor to, the MIC. Their existence = weapons contracts.

Leading up to Jan 6th there were weeks of MAGA's posting openly about their plans across social media, then the day came and it turned out there was zero contingency planning.

The most powerful "intelligence" and surveillance apparatus in history just let it happen... I know this, because I live on the opposite side of the planet, and knew a coup attempt was guaranteed from nothing but reddit links to other social media.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume it's because something insane like 95% of judges, law makers, police, and military are male.

Considering much of it's acquired by injecting a toxic chemical slurry into bedrock — at pressures great enough to fracture rock — and big fossils tell us not to worry because they promise it'll never leach into the water table ... lol ... gas does way more harm than the Co2.

Humanity will be dealing with polluted water supplies for thousands of years; if we make it that long.

The project is designed to raise awareness of what is possible with this technology.

This has nothing to do with smart glasses, and everything to do with surveillance capitalism. You could do the same thing with a smartphone, or any camera + computer. All this does is highlight how everyones most sensitive data has been aggregated by numerous corporations and is available to anyone who will pay for it. There was a time when Capitalism used to equate itself as the "free" and privacy preserving antithesis to Soviet style communist surveillance, yet no KGB agent ever had access to a system with 1/100th the surveillance capabilities that 21st century capitalism now sells freely for profit. If you need proof, a couple of college students were able to create every stalking victims worst nightmare.

At this point why even bother with the bread?

Israel has already been doing this in Gaza, but with airstrikes. Giving a robot the ability to pull the trigger is barely different to air-striking buildings based on statistical modelling the likelihood that terrorists are inside as your only form of "intelligence" — especially when you don't care about civilian casualties and have already proven to shoot first and not even bother asking questions later.

There's no guarantee crawlers will actually honor "no follow" though. Google's reached enshittification and is intentionally making search worse, so people spend more time searching and viewing ads. Also no follow is to prevent spammers posting links in online forms and message boards, like posting links on Reddit to an external scam/spam domain. Linking TO a major site like Reddit is less likely to be spam.

Read the comments for a double dose of fascism.

Thus, conservatism and neoliberalism are, in reality, the radical agenda...
