Explanation: The Carthaginian general Hannibal Barca famously led an army that included war elephants over the Alps to attack the heart of Roman power in Italy.

Obviously, this is an easy answer to that damn question and will get you hired as a real go-getter every time.

How is this even a question? I’d have an elephant as a pet. Dream come true. I’d walk it, play fetch with it, etc.

You can always go on a technicality and see where they draw the line on ethics. Just say you'll loan it to a nature preserve for the rest of its life as anything less would be inhumane.

Invade my neighbor's yard, buy a bunch of hay, and start a manure company.

Questions like these are an immediate red flag for me.

So it looks like we're actually giving answers in the comments. Y'know, other that the correct one about attacking corporate competitors from their undefended rear.

The big issue is that they eat a lot of stuff, do poorly in my local climate and can become aggressive if male. Most likely I'd be forced to put it down. At that point, I could make it into a salable amount of biltong I guess. Loaning it permanently was also mentioned, but I think the spirit of the question is that I personally have to deal with it.
