Amazon customer service used to be amazing. Now it's clearly designed to frustrate you into giving up trying. Assholes.

[–] yozul@beehaw.org 10 points 1 month ago

Amazon is super evil, but it mostly comes from the way they treat their employees and sellers. The customer service is... okayish, mostly. They certainly have problems there as well, but it's not the real issue.

Air Canada should be top 5 imo. I want my three nights in an expinse hotel (the only one with available rooms, at that) reimbursed, goddammit, I don't care if it was out of your control due to "weather" on the nice, sunny day that my wife was having at my destination.

I might be a little biased...

I assume Spirit Airlines was disqualified for abusing pretty much every drug Florida man has ever been accused of taking

I think AA's issues are like most airlines: greed.

Their folks are friendly. I've never had a rep that I was pissed at, whether it was in the plane or at a counter. In fact, I'd say their folks go well above others I've ridden with (I'm looking at you Frontier).

I do, however, wish airlines didn't think the median size if a person is 5'9" weighing in at a buck fifty. They stuff us on top of each other and make sure they maximize revenue by barely having enough planes to cover routes, so they're always packed.

"Oh, but you can fly first class!" Nah, screw that. Give me a plane with no first class seats and enough leg room so I can move my legs a bit and we can all lean back just 2 more solid inches. The stress levels for everyone would magically improve, packed plane or not.

I know, I know, pipe dream.

I'll start by saying I agree with all your points. And I wasn't able to find info about the median height, but the average height of American men is actually 5'9. Which including women would bring it down quite a bit. That said, as a 5'7 shorty, I hate the small space in seats. Based on your post I'm guessing your height is around 6'2" (I must know if I'm close!), so you truly have my sympathy sitting in those sardine can aluminum tubes.

[–] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Lol, that's funny that it really is 5'9." It sure doesn't seem like it when we're all on it.

Yes, you're pretty close. It's annoying to me and if there were comfortable high speed trains available, I'd likely take more time so I could be less stressed by the entire experience.

Idk if their problems are a matter of customer service.

[–] ianhclark510@lemmy.blahaj.zone -2 points 4 weeks ago

Idk what you’d call it then lol, I’m a customer of theirs and I’m wholly unsatisfied with their service

[–] kosanovskiy@lemmy.world 1 points 4 weeks ago

Thsts not customer service, that's patch validation.

I'm pretty sure Comcast is using AI on their "automated phone service" now so that bumps them back to the top.

I had to call them recently to try and get their damn wire off my house and I spent more time arguing with their computer than I did talking with the person to get the situation fixed.

Rumor has it Ryanair will challenge Comcast in the CAS

Do people try to contact coinbase for reasons other than "my 2FA doesn't work anymore and I'm locked out of my account"? My only exposure to people trying to get help for it was while I worked for a common 2fa company, but you can't really blame them if you didn't save backup codes before getting a new device...

How is PayPal not on there?
