The upcoming Google Pixel 9 series is set to introduce a whole host of exclusive features, including satellite-based messaging support through Android 15’s non-terrestrial networks (NTNs). This makes the Pixel 9 the first device to support Android’s native satellite communication.

Everything else is a iteration of previous versions.

Still no TRRP headphone jack, and the fingerprint sense isn't on the back.

My guy, I hope you're not holding your breath on that one. You have to buy a budget phone to get those kind of premium features.

The headphone jack is gone for good, I would bet everything I own on them never reintroducing it to the pixel line.

The back fingerprint sensor is also probably not coming back now they've been using the behind-the-screen style for a few iterations now. But I could maybe see this showing up on the mid-cycle budget pixel refresh (the "a" ones) if it somehow made financial sense for them or perhaps on the fold with multiple behind-the-screen ones.

Somehow it doesn't seem exciting....but I don't know. Guess we will see. Another phone from Google... A bit of a sleeping pill but hope I'm wrong.
