One of my most memorable film experiences. Truly a unique and lush film and a wonderful way to tell a story.

I remember watching Halt and Catch fire and thinking why does this Lee Pace guy seem so familiar. It only recently clicked he was in this movie, which I had probably watched 20 times nearly 10 years before.

According to Deadline, a newly restored 4K version debuts at the Locarno Film Festival and then goes to theaters on September 27th in North America and overseas. Then Mubi will stream the film, which is strangely difficult to rent and buy on home video. Years ago, Criterion declined Tarsem’s offer to release the film

That's weird as it seems like the perfect fit.
