These oligarcs would burn a thousand worlds just to bump up their wealth.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 81 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Greed needs to be treated like a mental illness. It's no different than hoarding.

[–] snekerpimp@lemmy.world 32 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Been screaming this for decades

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 22 points 1 month ago (3 children)

The problem remains that we don't really treat mental illness in this country. So even if greed were classified as such, nothing would really change.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

Its almost like some kinda conspiracy of very rich people

[–] uebquauntbez@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Nay, it's just take from em what makes em ill!

[–] YeetPics@mander.xyz 1 points 1 month ago

Well could we at the very least push these wealthy hoarders to the edge of society and let them rot in their own filth like we do all the other people with mental issues that a quick pill can't mask?

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Got a bad case of the Dragon Sickness

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 15 points 1 month ago

The pedos who were buddies with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and spent time on Little St. James island 🏝️ are all banding together.

I braved looking at Elon’s stupid fucking face again to look at the article and it’s WAY worse than the headline suggests. They’re literally advertising a voter registration form that selectively registers you to vote based on which state you live in. If you live in a battleground state, it forces you through a lengthy form full of detailed (unnecessary) data collection then doesn’t even register you to vote. This is basically fraud.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

To be fair, if someone is still using Xitter, it’s only a matter of time before they get screwed. Not in a good way.

[–] EvilBit@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

100%, but this is an ad running on Google.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Ugh. Even worse.

[–] Rolder@reddthat.com 7 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

I could see that backfiring. The only people still listening to that fuckstick are right wingers. So right wingers in battleground states are going to be most affected.

Edit: Double checked and it’s an ad that has Trumps face on it so my point stands. Only people clicking trumps face willingly are right wingers

[–] EvilBit@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Maybe it’s mistargeted, dumb fraud, but it’s still fraud. What kind of shitty, worthless human says “let’s offer help to register to vote but misdirect some of the audience?” I don’t care who you are, that’s just the work of a sociopathic piece of shit.

[–] Rolder@reddthat.com 3 points 1 month ago

Oh I agree that it’s still fraud, just pointing out it’s bumbling stupid fraud.

[–] FenrirIII@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I believe he's either being sued or investigated for fraud now

[–] EvilBit@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I hope he gets crushed and forced to donate $500m to Fair Fight or a nonpartisan voter registration nonprofit chosen by the court.

[–] odelik@lemmy.today 47 points 1 month ago (3 children)

What a weirdo.

Never grew up, still thinks the letter X is cool.

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 26 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Bruh that picture of him in a trenchcoat trying to look like a pirate is who he really is. He's the kind of person that thinks X is cool, didn't understand the message of V for Vendetta, and overrates how cool black is as a color. He's locked in to who he was as a 13 year old. Hitchhikers Guide is his favorite series but he doesn't get that Xaphod Beeblebrox is the villain. He emulates who Douglas Adams, who he cites as his greatest hero, was trying to present as a complete and total fucking idiot. Elon Musk is the actual Vogons destroying earth to convenience an even wealthier group of people. This motherfucker read and loved the most antifascist book series he coulda loved and grew up to be a fascist. He's completely empty as a person. His upbringing scooped out every good thing he ever could have been and didn't even really put anything back. He's an actual empty shell of a person.

And you know what? I'm done asking why all those kids bullied him when he was young and I'm ready to start asking why Elon didn't learn what those kids were trying to teach him: you're an asshole and you need to get wise.

and overrates how cool black is as a color

Okay so there is this douchebag club of billionaires who are former marines and current nazis that are the ones who started the pirate broligarchy. I met one of them. Been to their house multiple times, had one on one dinner, etc. They’re way fucked up people and are angry at the US for personal bullshit that they think is noble. They fund big events like Nascar and other conservative macho cock sucker closeted gay gatherings that nobody decent cares about. Their familial heritage is that they were pirate families that worked for wealth families and royalty back in the day. Portuguese descent. Basically rich kids who turned into black sheep and now want to take over the world. I hope more light comes to them as they are the forces pushing the destruction of the US from SoCal.

[–] Zerlyna@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Hmm. I’m gonna have to pick another favourite colour.

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 4 points 1 month ago

Nah. Like what you like. Just don't act like its the only cool color and anything and everything is enhanced by being presented in the "edgy" color

[–] vaquedoso@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Ever since I stumbled across some videos on YouTube about it, I always picture Elon as Wheatley from Portal 2

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

“Blackmail is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion. The ‘x’ makes it sound cool.”

The X is a tribute to his racist ~~uncle~~ grandfather and the Technocracy Incorporated fascist movement he was a part of.

Edit I'm not sure why I wrote uncle instead of grandfather.

[–] YeetPics@mander.xyz 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

So are we gonna build a custom guillotine with stainless steel flat body-panels and a terrible battery range just for this special-ed apartheid hack?

[–] curiousaur@reddthat.com 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Ooh, a lithium battery powered rail gun guillotine.

[–] uebquauntbez@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

throwing flames? Great, count me in! /S

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)

What’s with the “nice” picture of this sonofabitch?

[–] dependencyinjection@discuss.tchncs.de 7 points 1 month ago (2 children)

What’s the deal with his body in the last image?

Not trying to fat shame or anything, just looks like a weird shape.

[–] pyre@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

his real body is worse

[–] Sanctus@lemmy.world 18 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Enough is enough. Cap campaign spending at 5k and thats it. End Citizens United. If I have to experience another decade of this I'm going to make it my life's goal to harass these people every moment of every day. Say goodbye to all your pairs of underwear, all your right socks, and enjoy having pubes in every toothbrush you ever touch. I will become the batman of billionaire annoyances. I will coat all your toilet paper in icy hot.

[–] Zerlyna@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I support this message.

[–] silence7@slrpnk.net 5 points 1 month ago

I recommend the following for anybody who is interested in checking their voter registration:

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Do these fools not know that multiple generations have become Ad Blind, or have Ad Blockers everywhere? I seriously doubt ads alone are helping to shape anyone's actual voting anymore, at least not the kind Trump is going to run.

If the Harris campaign wanted to counter this, they could just literally target all the same ads space as Trump online.

[–] AWistfulNihilist@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

This dude can't do anything right anymore. I'm thinking Elon help at this point is basically a dog whistle for well adjusted people to stay away.

Somehow when you add Trump's skin and Elon's skin together, it actually gets thinner, it's wild.
