Car dashboards with physical buttons, not screens
This. I'm currently looking for a new microwave* and it is harder than expected to find one with actual knobs/buttons.
- One where nobody mentions the microwave oven spontaneously catching fire in the reviews… The worst review I found was for a microwave without physical buttons, which caught fire but could not be turned off because the touch-"buttons" did not react anymore. O.O
Things with buttons and keys and switches. I hate "standby" instead of power off. I hate not having a keypad. I can't stand touchscreens for everything.
Science and higher education as a focused goal for American society as a whole.
Pipes, the smoking kind. Not to the point where it once was, people smoking everywhere, but I would like to be able to sip my pipe on a Sunday stroll without it being some statement of style
