Never refuse food or gifts. It's not necessarily an offense if you refuse, but I know a lot of Americans that love to share. Me included. I love making southern food dishes for people that never eaten it. My my black-eyed peas and cornbread is something I think everyone should try
As someone with dietary issues I hate this, everyone trying to force insane things down my throat 'its goodwholesomehonemade! You have to try it!' And its some oil, grease and salt mess that'll leave a vie ltaste my mouth and upset my stomach for days.
'I just know you'll love....' no, no you don't. People that I politetly try to explain I have a delicate stomach to but they but still pout and try to push are the worst - I don't want to argue but also I don't want the next two days ruined.
