The vegan place to discuss things.

Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.

Not that poster. I also had the same change.

from memory vit C enhances absorption while calcium competes. So not having excessive calcium with many meals probably helps a lot with uptake, plus basically every vegan meal has stupid amounts of vitamin C.

I eat a lot of lentils, beans, and oats. I think they're all pretty reasonable on iron content.

Sesame seeds, soya, and figs are also pretty high in iron.

Yeah lol the price is a joke, I buy them maybe once a month but they are good for iron.
