I'm curious if this is why the stores here have been lackluster for the last couple years. General fast food getting worse overall, but the Subways have been pretty bottom of the barrel. Article said the stores are going to be sold to a new "experienced" franchisee, so hopefully when they reopen they have a higher quality.

Oh yeah, I'm not unaware of the quality loss over the years. It's an occasional craving for their particular taste. Love the sweet onion chicken teriyaki.

It's the customer service that really tanked here (I'm in the affected area from what I can tell). It seemed like there were never more than 2 people working at any of the stores here, even during busy hours. Wouldn't surprise me if the owner was responsible for that as well.

I may be wrong, but I thought that the chicken story was explained by poor methodology of the researchers.

Or was that FUD from Subway?

This kind of shit should be illegal and punishable by actual jail time for the person who approved it.

They've become ridiculously expensive too. $10 for a 6" sub? $4 for a soda? No thanks, man!
