Actually yes, though normally under the same people that were brutal dictators in other times. Late Lenin-early Stalin, early Khrushchev, late Gorbachev, and even early Putin himself.
The Russian people are the greatest victims of the Russian system they perpetuate
I know so many cool Russians and Ukrainians personally, it's abhorrent what's happening because of Russia's dictatorship, within and without its borders.
Ok, more whataboutism! People make me sick.
That's just me speaking about another conflict without it ever affecting this one.
