But supposedly also Washington hated parties and the rambunctious drunk types so... Who the fuck knows. Everyone was drunk back then.

Maybe that's why they were celebrating him leaving?

They supposedly wanted him to be president forever maybe it was just because he was the designated driver and he was done with it.

Probably felt like the principal going on vacation.
