So my chemistry teacher went on a tangent in one of our lessons, and started telling us a bit about a Minecraft channel he was a part of in 2012. At its peak, the channel had either 10K subs or 10K views, but the videos were all set to private when YouTube introduced stricter copyright rules. He implied that he was challenging anyone interested to try and find the channel.

The channel itself was run by somebody else, who was not named but apparently used to work for NVIDIA before leaving to work as a kernel dev at ARM. The same guy, at some point, ran a small WoW server on one of my institution's dedicated servers.

The server and the channel would have been based in Northumberland, United Kingdom; and the players would have had northern, Geordie, Northumbrian, or Yorkshire accents.

I will not be naming my teacher, as he said that his name wasn't anywhere on the channel or in the videos; and I would prefer not to disclose the name of my institution to protect whatever's left to protect about my identity.

Does anyone know anything, or am I going to have to put my Sherlock Holmes hat on?

You guys kicked ass finding that article I was looking for.

This one I have been looking for for years.

It's a funny serialized short story about a guy(maybe British) who just keeps having a terrible day, and whenever he uses the f-word to describe a shitty event happening to him, he says fluff instead of fuck. "Fluff that" "so he took my fluffing wallet".

I know for sure at one point he ends up in the hospital, he may have been mugged at the beginning of the story but I'm not 100%, this story was so funny when I first read it and I have never been able to find it again.

Thank you

I was just reading this article and then accidentally zoomed up to the top of my feed after I've been scrolling for an hour and I cannot for the life of me find this article about a reporter going inside TSMC talking about what it looks like while TSMC starts up in Arizona. I can't even find the same article on any outside news site.

I'm fairly certain he has a whole series of videos, with this portable stove. Kinda sits so it's almost level with his shoulders.

He's got a fringe cut and glasses, and often is cooking ramen with additions to it.

Thanks!

I seem to remember this was a Reno 911! episode but my YouTube searching hasn't been able to find the episode/clip.

I think they were chasing a naked man but none of the cops wanted to touch him for obvious reasons. They made a half-hearted attempt to cuff/capture him but as soon as he crossed out of their jurisdiction (county line or something) they throw their hands up because that's not their job anymore.

A woman (thicc) walks down a sidewalk. A man says something crude, slaps her on the ass, and his hand gets stuck. She laughs maniacally while he gets sucked into the void and his entire body disappears into her ass.

All I can find is porn! :|

I don't remember a lot of details but I remember the human race ends up allying itself with a seemingly friendly alien race that agrees to give humanity advanced medicine and technology, but with the goal of slowly wiping out humanity through slowly making the species sterile. It follows a couple that is trying to conceive but has so far been unable to and the overlords keep reassuring them thR everything is fine just keep trying but the woman does digging and figures out what is happening but it's already too late. I think there is a time travel story where humanity is prevented from either coming into contact with the aliens in the first place or is warned away from making the deal.

Thank you thank you, it's driving me crazy.

I'm looking for a music video of a Power Rangers / Super Sentai fight sequence set to Run by Ghostface Killah. In the video the Power Rangers battle a group of enemies for some unidentified object about the size of a football, which changes possession multiple times throughout the fight. From my memory the production quality was pretty good, and it was all shot in one continuous take. I saw it years ago and have had no luck digging it up again.

So I remember a very short video, it might be from before the youtube era but I'm not sure.

The guy was walking towards a girl with a heart in his hands, an actual heart, probably an animals heart, the kind you'll find in a science class.

He looks at the camera, points at the heart and says "Heart!", turns towards the lady, and tells her "I give you my heart". She then slaps the hand holding the heart on his face, and the video stopped there, I think they were laughing.

I have no idea why I thought of this video today, but I can't recall where i saw that.

I think it was either homemade, or on a ridiculous low budget show.

It may even be a wkuk sketch? Or tomska?

There are some background guitar 'slides' (I think) starting at 3:28 in this song, they sound a lot like another song, I can't put my finger on.

I'm thinking 90s alternative rock, maybe?

It's a clip I've seen long ago, it was in Japanese but I had seen a version with subtitles. I think it was Kagamine Rin or Ren. The art style was pretty nice, the colors involved a lot of black, red and white. The story went like this : An injured woman found shelter in a cave, but it was inhabited by a she-wolf. The wolf (who could talk) was about to eat her but agreed to listen to the woman's story first. Turned out this woman was a warrior who had killed a bunch of people, and was betrayed and stabbed right when she had decided to chill. The wolf was like "yeah, very interesting, but I'm still gonna eat you", but then the woman stabbed the wolf. And then she was killed by some kind of demon that came from inside of her. Anyone knows the title ?

I believe it was an interview where a guy tells a story about trying to get fit for a movie role so he hires a popular Hollywood fitness trainer. The guy tries to tell the trainer who he wants to look like but the trainer cuts him off and says "Don't tell me, I already know. Brad Pitt, Fight Club." The guys asks how did he know and the trainer says "That's what everyone asks for."

So I remember this old animation video I saw maybe early 2000s? About a couple of musicians, I think a guy and a girl, and they're chasing some sort...of music sphere? That gives them the inspiration to their music? Something like that...And as they follow hints to find it, they go traveling thorough rural america. I remember at some point they go on a cargo train wagon. I don't think it helps with timeframe reference, but I watched this video on some CD included on a magazine, and it was next to On Your Mark, which is widely more famous.

Every few years I try to track something down that I half remember seeing on TV in the 1990s, but I have so far had no luck finding it as I don't have much to go on. I think it was a UK made for TV production, either an episode of a TV show, or maybe a one off TV movie.

The scene I remember features the lead character in an office with his boss. The tone is generally surreal and dreamlike. The office is white and there is a big window. As part of the scene his boss tells him about the famous Chinese story of Zhuang Zhou's Butterfly Dream:

"Once, Zhuang Zhou dreamed he was a butterfly, a butterfly flitting and fluttering about, happy with himself and doing as he pleased. He didn't know that he was Zhuang Zhou.

Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakable Zhuang Zhou. But he didn't know if he was Zhuang Zhou who had dreamt he was a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming that he was Zhuang Zhou."

I can't remember if this is all in one scene, or maybe two scenes spread across the story. Either at the end of the scene, or towards the end of the story the main character finds a matchbox on his bosses desk with a fluttering sound coming from it. His boss is nowhere to be seen. He picks up the box, listens to it, and then opens it. A butterfly flies out of the box and out the window.

This has been driving me nuts for years. Was it a weird film/TV show? A comedy sketch? An illustrative part of a documentary? An advert?

If anyone has any ideas or pointers, please let me know.

I have this image in my head I can’t quite pull what musical it is from. It’s a 1950-60s western, in color, a woman is walking around a ranch singing about how everything would be different and everyone would treat her differently if she were a man. She was just talked over by her dad or older brother. May not have been a western, but I distinctly remember her on or near a fence post during the number. I do not remember any particular face or name attached to this film. Anyone have any ideas of what movie this was?

I am looking for the author of the quote in title. The phrasing might not be exactly as quoted, but the idea behind it is that the right wing politics are usually aiming to go back to certain period in time which they consider to be the ideal one. Like if to get better as a society we need to undo the changes that led us here and go back to this previous ideal society. Whereas the left thinks that the ideal society has never really been implemented yet, so we need more changes in order to get there. I've heard during college, but the teacher is sadly retired due to health issues.

Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm trying to find a show I streamed a while ago. Here's what I remember:

  • It was a British show
  • Two guys were roommates; I think the apartment was messy
  • They had a woman friend
  • One of the roommates and the friend were in love but they kept having bad timing
  • I think the other friend was a manager at a company?
  • I think the woman had to move in with them at some point?
  • There was a guy named Jono (sp?) who kept saying, "I'm Jono"

I remember watching an episodic web series many many moons ago that used a highly stylized, I want to say almost cell shaded, computer animated video about a guy trying to travel across the country after some kind of event.

Each episode was done in a new location that tracked the travel across the USA and you picked your episodes by choosing a location off the map on the site.

It had a dozen or so episodes by the time I stopped watching for unremembered reasons.
