The Justice Department reasserted its position that Google should be forced to divest key parts of its business, such as Google Chrome and its Android operating system, to remedy its illegal monopoly over internet search in a filing Wednesday night.

Honda says it is accelerating research at its new 27,000 square-meter demo facility set up in Sakura City, Japan, and is shortening the time required to make a single unit. The site has full-scale equipment that is split between three buildings: the first for cathode formation and cell assembly; the second for anode formation; and the third for electrolyte activation and module assembly.

The plan includes using a continuous inline mixer that Honda says is “three times faster” than typical cell batch processing. Honda plans to make batteries on this line in January.

Honda is readying its solid-state tech for mass production in the second half of the 2020s. The company’s CEO Toshihiro Mibe has eluded that solid-state batteries will also be the key to unlocking cheaper EVs.

Die Kampagne zum Bewerben der Malware lief auf unterschiedlichen sozialen Medien, etwa auf Facebook, Youtube oder X.
Malware-Kampgane ist Langläufer
Die Kampagne läuft mindestens seit Anfang September, ist aber aktuell noch aktiv. Die Täter haben zahlreiche Konten angelegt, um ihr "Produkt" zu bewerben. Malwarebytes listet viele Handles wie @ProAIEdit, @EditProAI, @EdittProAI, @EditPr0AI und weitere mit Klarnamen "EditProAI" auf. Andere Konten scheinen demnach kompromittiert und für die Werbung missbraucht worden zu sein.
Es handelt sich um eine offenbar gut organisierte Kampagne. Sie sieht legitim aus, sodass sie erst sehr spät entdeckt wurde, erklärt Malwarebytes.

Owners of older models of D-Link VPN routers are being told to retire and replace their devices following the disclosure of a serious remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability.

Most of the details about the bug are being kept under wraps given the potential for wide exploitation. The vendor hasn't assigned it a CVE identifier or really said much about it at all other than that it's a buffer overflow bug that leads to unauthenticated RCE.

Unauthenticated RCE issues are essentially as bad as vulnerabilities get, and D-Link warned that if customers continued to use the affected products, the devices connected to them would also be put at risk.

The government is not asking for Google to sell Android right away, but it wants that option if other measures it imposes don’t work to restore competition. In general:
