Abstract

The present study assesses the climate of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in detail, focusing on the historical and future warming trends in the region. The assessment incorporates data from observations, reanalyses, and statistically downscaled climate models from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phases 5 and 6. Since the pre-industrial era, the observed average climate in the MENA has warmed by 1.5°C and is on the brink of exceeding 2°C. The reanalysis data suggest that the regional warming over some MENA sub-regions is three times faster than the global average. By the end of the 21st century, the Arabian Peninsula is projected to warm to 2.6°C ± 0.57°C and 7.6°C ± 1.53°C under low and high greenhouse gas emission scenarios, respectively. Distinct warming hotspots emerge over the Arabian Peninsula and Algeria in summer and over Mauritania in West Africa and the Elburz Mountains in Iran in winter. The summer hotspot over the Arabian Peninsula has already warmed by more than 2°C and can potentially warm to approximately 9°C under the high-emission scenario. As global warming progresses to 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0°C, the average temperature over the MENA land is projected to increase by 2.3°C ± 0.18°C, 3.0°C ± 0.22°C, 4.6°C ± 0.26°C, and 6.1°C ± 0.31°C, respectively. The 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0°C warming levels over the MENA are expected to predate those of the global mean by two or three decades. Natural climate fluctuations also significantly influence the region's warming, contributing to temperature extremes.

Alright, NOW it's done. For reals this time.

I did indeed use satisfactory-calculator.com to fix this. Specifically, I used it to manually lower the entire half of the beltway that was slightly higher than the other half, and absorbed the height discrepancy between the two buildings at the end of the upper beltway, here:

So that concludes all of the temp factories that need to be rebuilt, except for Frames, Quartz, and SAM, all of which I'm putting off until next phase, because I don't have Manufacturers.

SO, that means it's time to start Project Parts!

This one's gonna be a decent distance away, since I've basically exhausted all the resources in the plains, so first step is to extend the tubeway to our new location.

Additionally, I need to go even farther out to get some Coal. As it happens, I already have some very close to the existing tubeway that leads to the power plant (I only used 2 of the 4 Coal nodes down by the lake) so I also built out a full loop of the tubeway, to connect up to a segment near those Coal nodes.

Next, I branched off to all the resource nodes, as well as down to the beach, where the factory will start. I'm thinking about doing some kind of organic megafactory for ALL the project parts, so I'm gonna need a loooooooooooooooot of space out on the water.

Finally, I decided I wanted a new design concept for miner outposts, so I came up with this, and built it out on all the resource nodes (except the Coals).

I'm looking for book recommendations in the topics mentioned in title.

I often find myself feeling down and not being able to accomplish anything, and the tendency has been increasing.

I cannot even work on my hobby projects, because I'm just staring at the screen and my brain is not functioning, which leads to launching a game or watching YouTube videos and waste time.

I cannot find the way out of this madness, and my last resort is to find some books that might help with my issue.

I don't wanna rely on search results on the internet, because I don't trust random compilations of "read these 10 books to be productive".

Well, this is optional, but in case the book you recommend indeed helped you, I'd be curious how permanent the impact was for you, if that makes sense. I know mostly it depends on the person; it's me who has to make the effort, not the book. But I'd be curious how easy it is for you to consistently maintain what you learned from the book.

Regarding the format, it has to be in epub. And I'd very much prefer DRM-free books, price doesn't matter. If the only good books are all DRM-enshittified, that sucks, but I'll consider that too if I have no other choice.

In der Vergangenheit ist Merz immer wieder unangemessen mit Interessenkonflikten und Lobbytätigkeiten umgegangen. Während seiner ersten Jahre als Bundestagsabgeordneter verdiente er nebenher kräftig in der Wirtschaft hinzu. Im Jahr 2006 beliefen sich seine Nebenverdienste laut Schätzungen des Manager Magazins auf rund eine Viertelmillion Euro.

Ein Problem sah er darin nicht. Ganz im Gegenteil: Er stemmte sich sogar dagegen, seine Nebenverdienste veröffentlichen zu müssen. 2006 klagte er gegen die Vorschriften zur Offenlegung von Nebentätigkeiten – ohne Erfolg. I got a new laptop with a backlit RGB keyboard, but no capslock, numlock indicators. I figured I could solve that by just setting the backlight of the key if capslock is enabled. I got that working, but that's boring.

• Miglioramenti alla collaborazione in Proton Docs: sarà possibile ricevere notifiche email per commenti, risposte e suggerimenti, e si potranno menzionare utenti in un documento per assegnare task o evidenziare informazioni importanti.
• Organizzazione dei file e delle cartelle: nuove opzioni di copia e spostamento renderanno più facile la gestione dei file e sarà possibile cambiare il colore delle cartelle per organizzare meglio i progetti.
• Nuova app per macOS: l'app di Proton Drive per macOS sarà completamente rinnovata per offrire prestazioni migliori e una maggiore efficienza.
