Because I'm right, and there are downvotes. People use the downvote button to disagree, so they are wrong, because what I said is a fact πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

There is a massive, concerted effort by the right wing to take over or government, and nobody seems to care enough to stop them, so they're probably going to pull it off this time.

And I'll want an apology - when I'm right and not before - because I've had a really hard day. I answer questions all day, and get told I don't know what I'm talking about when I do, and then I have to explain why I'm right every single time. I always get told I don't know what I'm talking about, and then I turn out to be right.

I was looking for a couple of events, and one of them was the court making Trump above the law. I didn't think there was any way that could work, because they'd have to ignore the Constitution. But here we are, so all bets are off and I don't have any hope the good guys will win anymore.

Good. Traitorous cunt.

[–] voracitude@lemmy.world 5 points 21 hours ago

Uh-huh. Ignore everything else that's happened just this year, then. Ignore all the obvious preparations they've been making, how they've stacked the courts. It's gonna work out great.

Bush v. Gore. Contention, no proof. Since when has this SCOTUS ever shied from doing something it "can't"? Roe v. Wade. Presidents are kings.

Sorry bud, it's not looking good, and believe you me will I be voting. But it's not even a question that they're trying coup 2.0.

Yeah, she waived her right to anonymity, not automatically. She chose to, and it's her lawyers arguing these videos should be seen by the world. She is willing to give up her privacy like that to show exactly what these monsters will do to defenseless people. Absolute badass.

This is not incorrect data, that is the definition of a school incident. A firearm was found in or near a school. It is not a school shooting, but every school shooting begins with a school incident because it is not possible to shoot in a school without a gun near or in the school.

But this data is not being presented in its entirety as school shooting data, in any instance you've cited. Only the data for incidents which involved a shooting in a school is presented as school shooting data.

Dammit, that's better.

[–] voracitude@lemmy.world -5 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Nope, bad data is incorrect data. This is not incorrect, we just don't like the way it's presented.

I misunderstood, it read in the conversation like you were rejecting NPR saying the actual numbers were pretty hard to confirm (which does make sense, what school official is going to want to talk to the press about violence that happened in their school?), and I couldn't figure out why πŸ˜… Thanks for clarifying that!

I agree it should be separated, but that doesn't make it bad data. Unless you don't know how to read tables, but that's more of an individual problem than an issue with the information provided.

That link shows "school incidents", not "school shootings":

I forgot the link earlier, I am extremely dumb.

Thanks for checking out the second version of my Noita fan track! This one sounds kinda like Scandroid. I did and do love the first version which was much closer to power metal, but I wasn't happy with a lot of aspects of it. I re-wrote the lyrics, re-generated the whole thing from scratch using Suno, and then spent ten hours figuring out the basics of DaVinci Resolve to add all the different animations and transitions. It's still not perfect but I'm happy with it... for now.

I hope you enjoy it!

I had my best run going in over 280 hours. I had a homing rock wand, infinite spells and vampirism (infinite healing with the oceans of blood from corpses, not to mention grinding up the meat realm), an unmolested potion shop in the mines, and so many hearts I had 451 health with Vampirism. A fast teleport wand, a black hole wand I could have used to dig to parallel worlds eventually. I had killed The Alchemist and the Meat Realm boss with my sick homing quantum-split plasma beams on a Sparkbolt + Trigger.

Then I found Touch of Water.

No room in my inventory, onto my chainsaw wand just 'til I could get back to a Holy Mountain to save it for later. Saw a corpse, thought I'd top off my health and fired my chainsaw wand.

Actual footage of the event:

I finally feel like a real Noita!

I hope it's okay to cross-post this here! I'm not trying to spam, I didn't realise there was a difference between the different instances and thought my posts to one would be visible across all. I'm still getting the hang of this Fediverse thing πŸ˜„

Radio Patch Notes when?

From the end of "That Mitchell & Webb Look", S02E01.

A GIF of the human "success" animation for researching Core Waste Dumps, from the game "Master of Orion 2: Battle At Antares". I actually played a game all the way through to this point to get the footage, as I didn't have it on any of my games in progress at the moment.

Not only that, but the post I made it for got buried under downvotes, so nobody'd ever see it if I only posted it there. I hope other enjoyers of this sci-fi 4X classic find a pleasant dose of nostaligia in it πŸ––
