From my understanding, Jews don't believe that things like this are loopholes. They believe that, God's law being perfect, they were intended features of Jewish life. Then again, you have so many different sects of Judaism (like you do with Christianity) that you don't get a clear-cut consensus on issues like this across the whole religion.
I'm only 10 posts in and my head is already spinning. How do open-source development teams run like this?

I've had multiple "the dream"s. First I wanted to go to college for robotics and make sick frickin robots. I ended up not going through with it because lol college is expensive. Then I wanted to become a priest, but concluded that my schizophrenia would probably stop that from happening. Most recently I was interested in becoming a monk, but a quick chat with the abbot shot that down, again thanks to my schizophrenia.
I could live with not going to college again no problem, I have a nice engineering job as it is. What's really frustrating is when my mental illness keeps closing doors in my face the minute I find them. It's hard to think, at times, that my life really has value. But I persist.
The $6/hr was less than what would cover the cost of continuing to drive for Uber Eats.

Yeah, many subreddits have a bot that automatically bans you for making a single post in one that they don't like.
I don't know about your experience, but when I drove for Uber Eats, I had to quit after a few months because they arbitrarily cut my pay by about 80%. I was wearing my car down and burning my own gas to make less than $6/hr. I was struggling too, so much that I just couldn't afford to do that job anymore.
Uber promised investors the moon and now they can barely afford to pay their stakeholders back, if even that. Their unsustainable business practices, in a sane world, would have done them in years ago.
The video was filmed in December of 2023 and he died in September of 2024. I'm glad he survived much longer than he thought he would, at least, but it's a shame we lost him.
Rest in peace, Paul. You've earned it.
