Tucker Carlson?

My name is Axon. My planet is Neptune.

Same title, slightly different vibes.

I remember this track from Beavis and Butt-head. They cut it off as that first big note faded out, and for years I thought that was the whole song, the whole video. I wanted that to be the case, because I thought it was brilliant.

"Silver" in the song title ➙ "Silver" in the band name.

You can infer a lot about the George W. Bush administration from Riot Act.

I keep meticulous metadata.

Warp Records labelmates with Aphex Twin (and have collaborated with Tobacco too, as it happens)

The story goes that the "Twin" in the Aphex Twin stage name refers to an older sibling of Richard D. James' who died as an infant (or was stillborn), and his parents reused the name Richard when he came around. The photo on the cover of the Girl/Boy EP is allegedly the grave where this sibling is buried.

Adjective Adjective Song

Favorite moment at 2:17 when he gently moves the headstock of her bass out of his way. Hilarious.

Cover of a Paul McCartney favorite. Gods, I love this version.

In my room? In your room!

Song titles posed as questions comprised entirely of monosyllabic words.

Much like the "return to monke" meme, the themes of this song and video explore the dubious privilege of the "higher beings."

Also, similar groove and vocal performance.

How do you do, fellow Blockheads?
