It's a great portrayal, but the later episodes when he was quite ill are hard to watch. He is still fantastic, but clearly struggling with his illness and the side effects of medication. Of course, by all accounts he smoked ferociously, but still.

Followed the link to see what the rest of the truncated headline was, but that it. That's the headline 🤔

They're always doing this pish. I once accidentally bought one that had popping candy in it and it was boke.

This data is not beautiful. It's is confusing. Data is confusing.

Things that Liz Truss thinks are equivalent:

"Far left" activists unveiling poster of a googlyeye lettuce.

Far right activists burning down hotels housing refuges; looting bakeries for sausage rolls.

Not to mention the 8% who think they can fight a Gorilla!

I feel like the 28% who think they will lose a fight with a rat are my kind of people.

Firstly 27% of Britons are idiots. Down from 52% a few years ago, but still.

And naturally "The results also show that men are slightly more likely than women (30% vs 25%) to think they could make the Olympic team in 2028". To be be honest, I was surprised the margin was only 5%.

The Lidl is 500m away. It's just too far. Almost did my back in carrying the pizza oven home.

Surely the companies should be fined until they fix the spills.

Yep. GoFetch. Unpatchable hardware exploit on M1, M2 and M3 processors.

I saw this on Mastodon posted by @infobeautiful@vis.social and figured that it was appropriate for this community and absolutely not controversial in any way shape or form.

It's a Thursday again. The worst day of the week. Or is it? Disguised as a Wednesday for those south of the border, and a Tuesday for those of us in the land of the Scots.

What are your moans for this day and this week, the first week of the work year?

Personally, I've added app timers to all my time sink apps in an effort to become less dependent on my phone. It's 9.40am and I've already maxed out Megalodon, so I'm onto Lemmy/Voyager. Going well.

Also... I'm still off with the kids. Edinburgh schools didn't break up until the 22nd of December. Which seemed like a good idea at the time, but we're paying for it now.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of marmite. But I'm not an animal. I have it on toast, or a bagel, or maybe a toastie if I'm feeling reckless.

But my son wants marmite sandwiches. Sandwiches! How is it possible to spread marmite on bread without the bread disintegrating? Is there a technique that in my five decades on this earth I have not been able to master?

May all your cups be overflowing with crema this weekend.
