Hi all,

I'm building a media center PC and am looking for a tv-controller friendly UI for YouTube. My best case scenario is basically Smarttube as is available on Android TVs. It is a perfect app, but I believe it's not attainable on desktop.

I'm willing to use either Windows or Linux, and have a moderate level of competence in the latter.

I'd prefer that it function well with Kodi. Is the Kodi YouTube plugin any good? Another option I'd like to explore is Freetube or Invidious, but a surface level amount of research hasn't shown me any TV-like UIs.

Previously, I've used a spoofed user agent to trigger YouTube's native TV UI, but it's pretty shit and I'd prefer to not go there directly in any case.

Any insight is appreciated, even if it's a suggestion to post this to another community. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a FOSS app to track some health data.

Nothing crazy, just to track some chronic back pain and see how it trends while also keeping track of when I take pain meds and when I exercise.

Thanks!

Well yes, the onus is on the healthcare provider to pick CME that's relevant to them.

Aren't you just such a smart, special, edgy boy

I've seen/performed CPR on hundreds of people. The vast majority of cases, this is the case.

That's weird and dangerous and you probably shouldn't go back to that training program lol

I can't access my Jellyfin library right now because the backend is apparently too old (wtf).

Are you using the binhex image by any chance? I had this same problem, just had to update it from the apps/community center page instead of from the docker page.

Not sure if this is really what you're looking for but I have pihole at home, then tailscale so my phone always gets the benefit.

Would not recommend. As the other poster's link mentioned, it is possible to cause negative symptoms, although you're less likely to do this with water soluble vitamin C than it is with the fat soluble vitamins A,D,E,K.

In all likelihood you're just making expensive urine.

Why not just find some tangy citric acid based candy that you like?

Gaming Pc: PopOS Work desktop: Debian KDE Laptop: Fedora NAS: Unraid

Ideally on F-droid. I've been a user of wunderlist and any-do but would like to go FOSS.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi all,

I've recently built a unRAID based NAS / Media acquisition (*Arr suite) machine that I'm really happy with, but I need help filling my knowledge gaps in networking and security.

I have all the relevant containers ran with docker. The only container behind a VPN is qbittorrent. The only containers which are accessible remotely are Jellyfin, and jellyseerr, which are accessed via cloud flare tunnel. I use strong UN/password combinations for access to those services, within the apps themselves. No ports are open through my router.

I've seen a lot of talk of reverse proxies and ssl certificates but don't really understand their function, or if the cloud flare tunnel replaces those functions.

I've heard of tailscale as a solution but I'm not able to install anything on computers which I'll be accessing the content.

Would appreciate advice or resources to learn from. Thanks!
