I have watched more than a few of his CBC pieces. Where employees and work-life balance are concerned, the man is toxic AF.

I mean, sure; if you are looking to become obscenely wealthy his attitude makes a lot of sense. But not all of us want to become parasites sucking the lifeblood out of other hard-working, working-class Canadians. Some of us just want enough to be comfortable, because smelling the roses and enjoying life is more important than spending a lifetime grinding to accumulating “stuff” only to die without having enjoyed any of it. You can’t take those obscene levels of wealth with you when you die, and all that accumulating those “brownie points” do is impoverish those from whose labour you coerced and forcibly extracted it.

try to sleep on the plane

That requires a good travel pillow to avoid a massive crick in the neck that can produce immense pain.

Should be equally as easy anywhere.

Escrow.com.

Nothing special needed. Trivial to set up, and you control the release of funds. Doesn’t seem to have any ability to schedule deposits, but most rent payments are done manually anyhow. And since the money is clearly being held in reserve for the landlord, there is clear evidence of intent to pay.

As a Canadian I’m shit at remembering names, but give me an accurate list of State names and I could complete this map with at least 90% accuracy.

As it is, having to remember names off the top of my head I would likely only get about 50-60% correct.

The fact that the deceased man had his hands and feet tied at the time of his death has led many in the public, including investigators, to treat the death as murder.

So, not immediately being dismissed as a suicide?

Amazing.

Belgian investigators might actually be rubbing more than two functional neurons together, and are realizing how stupid they would look if they actually punted the suicide angle.

Officials, however, continue their illustrious tradition of running entirely functional-neuron-free.

Over on this side of the pond, we call the sport soccer.

So for Americans and Canadians, this would be a map of soccer fields.

NO.

The aspects of a day are assigned to the quarters of the day in the same way as the seasons of the year are broken up between the solstices and the equinoxes.

Ergo, as it is for a year:

  • winter: winter solstice to spring equinox
  • spring: spring equinox to summer solstice
  • summer: summer solstice to fall equinox
  • fall: fall equinox to winter solstice

So is it for a day:

  • night: midnight to 6am
  • morning: 6am to noon
  • afternoon: noon to 6pm
  • evening: 6pm to midnight

And you need a good one because there has been problems with some password managers in the past.

coughLastPasscough

“Problems”. What an delightfully understated term to use.

Especially since it takes more effort to limit it than leave it wide open for whatever length of password a user wants to use.

nvarchar(max) is perfect to store the hashed copy.
