To be fair, game development is one of those professions that should've moved to remote-only years ago.

I think a lot of what comes out of Japan is better than the West because they haven't given up their idea of the company man.

Like it or not, having to switch jobs every few years is going to impact your performance.

Most of you have no idea how much easier it is to process information when you accept that you'll be doing it the same way for decades.

I don't think they will receive a reckoning, but their children might.

It's especially disgusting when we realize rich people are setting their children up to inherit a world where everyone hates them for being rich from exploitation.

I think the male can change if he was forced to. Every time he succeeds in womanizing a victim, he has more reasons to stay the same.

why bother with a society that keeps prisoners at all?

Because I don't accept something as fact just because it's upvoted on reddit. Prisons aren't just for 'rehabilitation.' They are also for keeping ne'er-do-wells away from harming others.

Really? I found out about it by seeing videos on Kaotic, then when I checked youtube to see what's up all of the reports had <1M views days after airing.

Doesn't really sound like "all over the internet to me," but you seem like someone who doesn't have a grasp on how massive the internet has become.

Trying to think what I would do in their situation...

I'd probably do whatever I can to punish the zionist pigs that put me there.

I didn't watch Shippuden until way later in my life, and to be honest I was kind of disappointed by it.

I recall my peers constantly praising it as being "so much better" than Naruto, but I just don't see it. It's also not what I thought it would be like.

Shippuden ended up being a lot more like Dragonball Z and less about ninja wars in between the villages.

I would've liked to see more blood and weapons, broken bones, and fewer energy blasts.

It's kind of ironic, because a lot of what I expected Shippuden to be like was explored in the Obito flashbacks. It's ironic because while that's what I expected and would've liked to see more of, I almost feel like it was too bleak and 'colorless' to be a high-point of the series.

I dunno, there's also something about seeing kids fighting that adds an extra layer of significance to whatever is going on.

I believe it's a chicken and an egg problem.

If free software projects had more users, those users would improve the software further with donations, patches, and bug reports.

I've just lost faith in government completely.

I also don't have faith in the economy, so it's back to natural living like the Native Americans.

I'm honestly happier for it.

Oh goodie, another reason for useful idiots to defend the prices businesses charge.

Glad I've already been living as frugally as possible for the past several years.

Hate to break it to you buddy, but the more you study religion, the more you'll realize that they're fighting to bring their gods to life and shape the world as they see fit.

That's how they could convince people to go to war over their religion. There would be no need for war if one side believed in the 'right' god, because all the other sides would be punished by that god. But the religious interpretation of 'god' means that the outcome of the war will determine which god is 'right.'

Gods being as real as we make them is a feature, not a bug.

Always telling whenever terrorists attack non-white people and nobody seems to care or even notice.

It's like I have to find out on my own on a gore site that an attack even happened at all.

Seems like a goldmine of content for them to work on for the next decade+. Plenty of people will never experience these worlds or stories due to the turn-based combat, so giving them the Remake treatment could be the only way an audience ever finds them.

I would like to see FF8 remade next. It's the next logical choice becauase 8 comes after 7 and it's a solid world to leave the FF7 rut for.

The rest could be good, too, but FF8 would probably be the easiest to pull off successfully.
