Do we think they're just remotely watching the hackers' screens as they send phishing emails, shouting at the void 'don't click that' and trying to find a phone number for whoever is in the middle of clicking on it?

Would banning the voting half of the pseudonymous account not mitigate the immediate issue? Then asking their instance admin to later lookup and ban the associated commentating account.

... except they ask you for a photo in the other direction, showing your chair and desk and keyboard. And not by surprise, just "send us a picture sometime for the audit."
