Yeah but if we don't get mad at made up situations then we'll be forced to deal with real issues and that's hard.

Dresden files not popular among these parts or how come nobody's mentioned it yet?

It has technically already been adapted, but it was a stupid procedural cop show with a twist rather than what it should be. If you want a more formulaic thing, just copy Amazon's Reacher.

Plus, since it's an urban fantasy, it should be cheaper to make than most other fantasy/sci-fi shows, I think.

Aside from smut peddlars, haven't all of those mostly achieved fame first and then revealed to be right wingers? Not super familiar with the scene so I may be wrong.

No, we were part of the majority that had money but nothing to spend it on because everything was rationed. From water and heating to tv time and groceries. There wasn't enough of anything because everything was going to export so at least on paper everything looked great and so you get to say stuff like "wow, that grass painted with toxic paint sure looks green from over here!"

Nah, we do. Some of us actually grew up in them. But I'm sure you know best.

I'm pretty sure that the current situation in Ukraine proves that it works.

Oh. I had different sets. I had all 3 options but not against each other. So it seems they're randomized.

Edit: hadn't read the other replies. People have already figured that out, it seems.
