The times have shifted and a rise in right wing, fascist thinking worldwide has definitely emboldened them.

Secondly, the notion that queer liberals think that these companies ever gave two shits about them. Perhaps I'm misinterpreting the statistics and quotes in the article.

The sooner the working class realizes that these companies never gave a rats ass about them to begin, and only pretended because in years past it was profitable to do so (at least in the US), the better off we will be. I would just look up "usb 3 hub" on amazon or wherever. That will give you a good speed. Though if you want to keep it cheaper and you only need it for wireless peripherals, then a usb 2 hub would most likely be fine for that. Just know that if you ever plug a usb or external drive into the hub, it will be limited to 500 megabytes per second, compared to the usb 3 at 10 gigabytes per second roughly.
