not sure if duct tape or brute force but if I can't stop a file from getting overwritten like resolv.conf I just make it immutable with chattr

maybe I've consumed more and more scifi over the years to compare to or maybe the later releases of trek have lowered the average in my mind but I can't help but see trek in general as solidly mid now

under the definition of bike shedding in the Encyclopedia you'll find wayland the prime example. been waiting years on one pr for them to decide on the word "may" vs "will"
