Except for the invitation to parents of an Israeli hostage.

AIPAC just has more money to give than the genocide victims.

Love takes many forms. Caring for someone without the expectation of a benefit you want is a form of love. If my wife came down with MS and we could no longer have sex, I would still love her, respect her and admire the mother and life partner that she is. I would also be upset that I couldn't have sex any more.

I personally would try to figure out the following, with or without professional help:

  • Why is she depressed? She is going through a lot. She is probably scared you are going to abandon her when she needs someone the most. She may also hate the situation that you are in because of her illness. She is also probably angry at the world that she has to suffer this. She is also probably worried for her child and feels guilty that she can't give her more. There are so many feelings she has to process, it may be easier to just shut down.
  • If you remove the expectations of sex with her, would you be willing to stay with her as a caring and respectful partner and mother to your child?
  • You might explore non-monogamy. That's going to be a complicated conversation, but maybe something your wife is willing to explore. Just ensure it takes into consideration all the issues in the first point.

A good mother and partner is so hard to find. Love can take many forms. Don't feel limited in your choices if you can make other options work out.

All this without any citations at all.

The IBA is a corrupt Russian body that was upset the Russian boxer was defeated. They never released any results or the methodology they used to determine their decision. They were rightly removed from the IOC.

Anti-Isreal protests? Don't they mean anti-genocide?

I think you mean bowels?

So you're saying most father's that turned into MAGA fanatics were weak or absent when their children were young? I don't know how to interpret it otherwise.

Better title - "Politicians work with insurance industry to stop a block to unethical profits."

I thought the same thing, but it has sparked a huge discussion about if the word "weird" is a good label for Trump, Vance, and the most fervent MAGA supporters. When you're fighting a cult, I have a feeling it works.

We need more instances, but we need to be a lot smarter about the structure. I think we will only be able to grow larger if we make a more intentional separation between topic-based instances and "people-home" instances, so that we can have a better spread of the load.

I don't know if it would help with load-balancing, but I feel hash tags would be better than communities.

Thanks for the comments. By separate incursion, I mean - are they entering Russia through a completely separate area of the Russian border? It is it an offshoot of the other forces, entering Belgorod through Russian territory.

This really does change the strategy of the whole war, especially if they can hold it even expand their the gains.

I would also imagine other countries bordering Russia might take notice.

For me, it's the ability to add multiple apps to folders with a checklist.

Wow. This is a very interesting development. Thanks for the update! Discussions about Ukraine is one thing I miss from Reddit.

[T]he report's executive summary certainly gets to the heart of their findings.

"The rhetoric from small modular reactor (SMR) advocates is loud and persistent: This time will be different because the cost overruns and schedule delays that have plagued large reactor construction projects will not be repeated with the new designs," says the report. "But the few SMRs that have been built (or have been started) paint a different picture – one that looks startlingly similar to the past. Significant construction delays are still the norm and costs have continued to climb."

The UI for discarding a comment always confuses me.

If I want to discard a comment I'm writing, I have to hit "cancel," then I'm given two options, cancel or discard. I think I must follow the previous naming convention, so I hit cancel, but instead, I have to hit discard to discard the comment.

I think it would be better to have "Discard" as the element in the screen when you write a comment. Then, when you confirm the decision, it is the same nomenclature, discard or cancel.

If you want, I can add a screenshot.

Unraid has come out with their new pricing plan.

I have mistakenly said in some comments here before that they were doing away with their lifetime plan. They still have it, but it is just more expensive. They have introduced a couple of cheaper annual subscription plans.

If anyone is still on the fence about buying Unraid, you have a week until the new pricing plan comes into affect.

After seeing so many examples of companies really screwing up their pricing changes, it is refreshing to see Unraid do this so well.

An overview of the recent losses by the Russian air force and overall situation for their readiness. Kind of a follow-up on some questions I asked on other posts here.

I have an asus router with a pi-hole on the network.

I was doing some work on my server and noticed that when pi-hole was down, I couldn't access the internet. I was looking for some ideas online how to deal with this, but they said to have a second pihole on the network in case one is offline. Is that the only way to do it? Is there any way to have the network go back to normal if the pihole is offline?
