As far as we can tell, these moms are indeed NOT responsible for the autism of their kids. As our society allows to care and accommodate for individuals who may or may not have issues integrating socially, autism is not negatively selected for and therefore individuals affected are only selected against on a sexual level if at all.

That means: These moms blame anything but the chance of their genetics, in consequence believing fascist ideas of a lost golden past that must be achieved again by ousting demonized parts of society.

Unwanted resisting individuals have already received threatening mail to leave the US even as natural citizens. They have changed it already. It is happening right now.

NO manufacturing will come back to the US, because in the end, money reigns.

that's a matter of years, at best. Lutnick is just lying to appease the MAGA base.

There is yet another dimension to this apparently: China has implemented new regulations regarding the export of their rare earth materials. Basically all high tech materials need these and the US has no alternative for some of these as China holds the de facto monopoly.

Nein. Russland zieht China nicht in diesen Krieg hinein. China beteiligt sich wohlwissentlich an diesem Krieg.

Yet again more fascist ideology embraced and embodied by MAGA.

I understand your reasoning but tariffs all around are just not the right tool as they affect your own market first and while the eu is the second biggest consumer market after the us, it just hasn’t the same margins to cut into for tariffs to properly bite.

So all the EU can do with them is to make it hurt while trying to avoid exactly the damage to the own economy that the US is causing. That way you try to leverage the reciprocal approach while trying to carry the economy for as long as possible.

That Trump is willing to escalate is apparent with China, but contrary to the EU, China has monopolies on goods and resources that it can (and already does) utilize to supplement tariffs. That will cause bigger damage than tariffs over time.

Of course the biggest absurdity is that a trade war like this harms the engine of every single country affected, destroying value AND lives just as much as a real war does but without the visibility.

Most people do not care if some corrupt politician whose activities seem inconsequential to their own circumstances is getting away. It needs to affect them in a tangible way for people to care.
