The parasite class includes the welfare class and the corporate welfare class. Not all of the poor people are working class and not all of the parasites are ultra rich.

My father lives right around the corner from me and has been doing astrophotography for just over a year. He wouldn't care for Lemmy. Would the community care if I shared some of his pictures and progress even though they aren't mine?

I'm working on phasing out windows in my office as much as I can entirely because of the end of win10 and the dumb requirements of windows 11. I'm still running it on my main home PC though because I'm insanely busy and like to game for like 5-10 hours a week and and want to spend zero hours getting games to run. If I buy a game on steam and it doesn't work I instantly I refund it even if I could probably figure it out.

The Cincinnati streetcar cost almost exactly $150m and it serves like 0.5% of the metro population. It runs a 3.6 mile loop, that's just over a 1.5 mile walk from one end to the other. I can walk it in 20 minutes.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with the sentiment of the post. We need to invest in public transit. Where I live there are zero non-car options. But don't pretend you're building comprehensive public transit for $150m.
