I took a little liberty with what “downloads folder” meant. It’s not in my root downloads folder, it’s sorted out into a music folder. It was a download though.

I’m just pretty impressed I managed to keep my music library going continuously for 24 years. 20 of those years are just single HDD no redundancy storage, just hopping HDD to HDD.

That was many, many PCs ago. I kept rolling my HDDs or data over depending on what was upgraded, now my downloads are living on my NAS. One day for shits and giggles I wanted to see what the oldest file I had was, and sure enough I still had a Napster download.

I’d imagine a common chocking death is when a vehicle rolls and crushes someone.

I felt differently, so many of those stars and collectibles are uninspired filler. Trying to 100% it led to me significantly disliking it. They could have cut so much and it’d be a much tighter experience.

I was looking at these last night too. Best I could find for “van of beans” or “beans van”.

It’s broader than just a Disney+ trial account, it’s part of the whole Disney account, such as when you buy tickets as he did in 2023. Between that and the Florida judge I’m not sure it will get thrown out.

Best case scenario is forced arbitration is just ended. It should be an option, not a requirement.

Disney adds that Mr Piccolo accepted these terms again when using his Disney account to buy tickets for the theme park in 2023.

By no means do I agree with forced arbitration, but so many articles are reporting this partially.

They also agreed to the same clause when buying the tickets in 2023. It’s not just the streaming service ToS in play. Sure gets a lot of clicks saying it like it was though.

Again I think this is all horseshit and forced arbitration can get fucked, but it’s not being reported properly. The Disney+ trial could have not happened at all and the argument from Disney wouldn’t change.

These complaints sound legitimate.

AT&T said SpaceX's requested "ninefold increase" to the allowable power flux-density limits for out-of-band emissions "would cause unacceptable harmful interference to incumbent terrestrial mobile operations. Specifically, AT&T's technical analysis shows that SpaceX's proposal would cause an 18% average reduction in network downlink throughput in an operational and representative AT&T PCS C Block market deployment."

Assuming a handset antenna gain of -3 dBi, SpaceX's proposal still results in an interference to noise (I/N) ratio of -3 dB—well above the ITU [International Telecommunication Union] threshold SpaceX claims would protect terrestrial devices. SpaceX's proposed margin therefore fails to adequately protect terrestrial user equipment from potential interference from SCS satellite systems, including user equipment that may not fall within the flagship performance parameters, and should be rejected.”

My dad had a shitbox Astro too, thing would not die and he wouldn't get rid of something that still worked. Used to ride around in it on country roads in upstate NY with the side door wide open, stoned to the bone. It felt illegal and dangerous, but cool - literally and figuratively. If you've never ridden around in a van with the sliding door open, out in the country, preferably baked out of your gourd, I recommend it.

I use the app but all my subs are done through the website. It’s nice getting notifications for new podcast episodes.

Is Apple going to try and stop this? How would they even do that short of removing the app from the App Store ? I already don’t pay for anything in any iOS apps if there’s an alternative method.
