A blast from the past! I used to check out reviews there. Great site.

Idk if this is still the case, but I pirated a shit load of psytrance with DC++ back around 2005-06. Might be worth checking there, or maybe soulseek. I can’t vouch for soulseek personally but a ton of friends love it. I find with more niche things like more obscure electronic music peer to peer beats the pants off torrents.

Shout out to my first rave, caught Infected Mushroom in Montreal during the Classical Mushroom / BP Empire era. Been a fan of psytrance and a good uggadugga bass line ever since.

He wasn’t evil, he was just a cunt. A nightmare neighbor whose frustrations were completely self induced. The only reason people didn’t die was the area was evacuated. He was fueled by insane Christian inspiration.

Less a fine piece of history, more a piece of fictionalized mythology.

I’ve not come across anything that’s OLED unfriendly. I’m not sure what you mean to be honest.

Marv had the time, resources, and skill to armor a bulldozer but couldn’t install a septic system. Fuck that guy.

The 2500k/2600k was such a good processor. My favorite Intel build I’ve done had a 2500k I overclocked to 4.8GHz back when bitcoin was $10.

Consuming magnets is a stupid idea. That’s how you get holes in your intestine. Were zinc supplements not enough for this guy? Zinc does increase testosterone, but damn, you don’t need that much.

It just felt like 1 but worse.

I don’t disagree, but I still liked it much more than Infinite. I didn’t care for the art style of Infinite, the social commentary didn’t land for me, and the guns weren’t fun to use. I know a lot of people liked it, but it wasn’t for me. It’s been a long time so maybe I need to revisit it.

The comment about steam deck makes sense, I also see it’s got achievements. Just curious who would use it, as it’s been free for a long time. One of the first open sourced games I remember. Great games, aside from some torturous level design, thanks for posting. Added it to my library anyways.

Marathon has been free and open source for 20 years. Is there any reason to use this over Aleph One?

I really didn’t care for the changes made to Bioshock Infinite to make it appeal to a wider base. I got maybe a third into it and stopped. Loved Bioshock 1 & 2 though.
