It's the lead lining.

I'm on Ubuntu because work too. I really hope nobody gets the idea to do really silly things like enforce Gnome or something. Wouldn't put it past them.

What part of Canada? I see old pickups and SUVs all the time.

#4 is huge. I had an '89 Ford Probe. It had 330000km on it when the bottom rusted out and wasn't worth repairing. Mechanically that thing was still perfectly sound, and probably could have put another 100k on it.

McNally Robinson is also a huge bookstore in Saskatoon.

Right, forgot about the moons. I managed to confuse new and original doom in my mind. IIRC the humans didn't even invent the teleporters. They were already there.

I'd hate to be the first human.. in the original game there are dead people all over the place and the evil humans you do see are posessed.

Oh yeah, completely agree as long as it's done by the car with no telemetry or anything. When it comes to features like this my big worry is always privacy. The safety is a good thing.

My car turns off cruise control if you look away from the road for any length of time.

The highest speed limit in the USA is 137kph or 85mph. 148 is not a lot higher, and people tend to be stupid.
