Joah, dann halt noch ein Krieg zwischen Indien und Pakistan, warum nicht?

Good luck with that, I'll watch the outcome with great interest.

Wow, they folded faster than a lawn chair.

Does it have a scroll wheel?

Not every great director is also a great writer and editor. There's a reason making movies is a team effort.

That might still become a real thing considering where things are moving.

Ich hatte nichts erwartet und bin dennoch enttäuscht. Das können ja vier heitere Jahre werden, mit dieser Truppe.

In einer Demokratie bekommt jedes Volk die Regierung, die es verdient.

Uff, das ist nicht gut.

It's a looong read, but very interesting if you are into input device choices.

Babe, wake up! Kensington has shown a new trackball design concept.

Hooray indeed. I made the switch because I got to fully "experience" Win 11 at work. There's no way I would use this crap privately. At the same time, my Steam Deck proved I could enjoy my games on Linux. This was three months ago, I never looked back.

All you need to know:

Matt Welsh (mdw@mdw.la) is the CEO and co-founder of Fixie.ai, a recently founded startup developing AI capabilities to support software development teams

I like the idea and the materials, but the designs of Serene Industries just don't speak to me. It's a matter of taste, of course.

I stumbled across this man laying out the current situation with such clarity, I just had to share it.

I just canceled my Amazon Prime membership, something I was almost afraid of. Phew, it's nice to have that off my back.

I've been shopping less and less at Amazon anyway and barely used prime video, so I'll probably won't even notice the difference.

Some of the cupboard doors in our kitchen started to ever so slightly skew over the years. It's been bugging me for weeks, so today I finally took the time to realign them neatly. Took me about two minutes and now everything looks tidy again.

Results were favorable. The trackball provided a 60.1% increase in throughput over the standard controller for novice participants. More impressively, it was shown to provide a 58.7% increase in throughput for participants already adept with the use of a standard controller.

I've been rocking the Kensington Orbit wired for years now and I've yet to find a better trackball.

Reasons:

  • works for both hands
  • scroll ring
  • big ball
  • wired
  • works reliably

I use the trackball with my left hand and a mouse with my right.

It seems like such a cheaply made product, but it just works so very, very well.

No social media site can exist without a section dedicated to trackballs, the arguably superior input method.

The previous communities went stale, so here is my take on it. Looking forward to welcoming the tens of people interested in this topic!
