I've lived in a handful of different provinces and have family in basically every region of Canada and I have never heard of goof being used that way. Where did you hear that?

Calling someone a goof is just another way to say they're being silly/ ridiculous, which I'm pretty sure is the same way it's used everywhere else.

As others have pointed out, CloudFlare doesn't sell .ca domain names due to the ownership restrictions applied by CIRA. I've personally used Web Hosting Canada (WHC.ca) for many years, including their hosting for a while. I also have a couple of domains with Register.ca.

I then use DuckDNS for dynamic updates and the free tier of CloudFlare for security certificates and some simple access rules.

Cannot wait for this, I wishlisted it immediately when I first saw a post about it over the weekend.

Tom Francis (the dev behind TBW and many other great games) posted videos throughout the dev cycle of the game on his YouTube channel. They're definitely worth a watch for anyone interested in game design/development.

Not quite the same as the current comments by Toto/Hamilton since the roles were a bit different (i.e.: Verstappen hadn't won a championship yet). And the Toto/Hamilton ones have been more direct. But yes, he's made similar comments. Their rivalry is not new and tbh I'm quite shocked anyone is surprised by any of this situation.

Just in recent years, he's made the following comments:

I remember some harsher ones but the current headlines keep coming up when I try to search for them, I'll have to give it another go when I'm back at my computer later (if I remember).

I might be a bit out of the loop here but why was the decision made to migrate the community to a different instance?

All I've seen is that it was to move to a "friendlier" instance, did something happen previously or is this just related to the admins of lemmy.ml?

On top of the other reply, you could also just take into account what your errands are and not get the perishable goods first?

I also love the idea that we can have "bot instances" (as mentioned by OP) so an instance can decide if they want most bots or not. Not sure if communities themselves can exercise that kind of control but that would be amazing as well.

Add that to the rapidly growing lists of things that are improved on a decentralized platform!
