Are we the nation of immigrants or the nation of those who hate them? I choose to welcome our immigrants as my ancestors wished they’d been welcomed. Let’s help them learn to be Americans as they show us some cool shit to add to being an American

I’ve only read the headline but I bet it fucking did
In fact I’d love to trip with a dog
Yeah most of our state media is aimed at foreign countries. Not even npr is state media anymore
He doesn’t see understanding the issues as a civic duty so he mostly just watches tone. This means if you politely and non-partisanly explain your left wing beliefs he thinks they make sense. So yeah, but he feels like exactly the average American
Yep, had a conversation about it with a coworker who won’t be voting. His stance on roe v Wade (he brought it up) was that both sides have points but he didn’t understand what the decision was about as evidenced by him thinking that the government just shouldn’t have a say in medical decisions.
Worse is my coworkers ranting about how biased the moderator was
I went to high school with a girl who was I think #6 of 12. And yeah she was raised by siblings and raised siblings herself. It was actually somewhat similar to what my girlfriend experienced having a deadbeat mom and imprisoned dad.
Oh I have one. I sure wish they’d started when I was in school. I had to do the hard work of actually admitting I wanted it to myself and others.
Because evil. No seriously. And yeah that’s the difference between plausible and implausible conspiracy theories. Plausible ones have motivation. “Why did Donald trump snd the right wing media attempt to overturn the 2020 election?” For power. “Why did the CIA experiment with lsd to control minds?” They were really high and worried that the communists were better at controlling agents than them. “Why do world governments hide proof of alien contact?” There is no clear answer. “Why do world governments work together to hide proof of a flat earth?” To keep the population in the dark.
Oh that won’t go well.
