as a developer i can assure you they have plenty other means to collect your data. the ad id is only for displaying targeted ads, but the spying goes on

sometimes it's enough to just be connected to the same wifi hotspot for a time. i've seen people i've met for the first time and spent an evening with bubbling up as friend recommendations instantly 10 years ago already, i'd assume they've gotten a lot better at it by now

MD has a companion app where you have to grant it special rights via adb (read/write secure settings). might also work for tasker

yes and no. if you look at the number of reported CVEs, debian takes the crown of all operating systems. still feeling more secure on linux than any closed source system
