Don't want this to come across as defeatist, because the message is nice and Ursula K. Le Guin is a real one, but there's still 43 monarchies in existence in 2024.

Picked up Bloons Tower Defence 6 on sale for $1.50, already put quite a few hours into it.

The eruption was in 2022 though, so what caused the hole to increase so dramatically from 2019 to 2020?

Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant. I don't really know the difference between a town and a tiny village I just meant there are way too many names.

Could've done with a few less to make it a bit clearer to read.

Nadu just doing Nadu things.

Feel like this would be a little more legible with slightly less towns on it. Can barely see the old borders there are so many names everywhere.

Helping to contribute to OpenStreetMap using Street Complete has the potential to change that.

It's just personal preference.

I learnt it from a chef in Japan in 2009, and I assume he had been doing it for many years at that time.

Generally, that's something done at a sushi train restaurant where the dishes won't have wasabi in them already. I'm guessing these notes are for a sushi restaurant where the chef prepares the sushi specifically for each customer, so if you wanted wasabi they'd put it in the sushi itself.

Fall of Civilizations podcast.

Great insight it a number of civilisations that have collapsed throughout human history. Explains their rise, peak and of course collapse in great detail.

The gunplay looks pretty fun to me. That's the most important part for me, if the actual combat isn't fun, then that's a different story, but it looks pretty cool. Cool enough for me to try it out on gamepass.

Because reading is an inherently human activity.

An LLM consuming data from a training model is not.
