I didn't read it but a TLDR would be because its an airproof package with chemicals inside, which react with one another to produce electrical energy, when for some reason a bad reaction occurs, it releases a gas which get contained within the package creating the spicy pillow fwiw.

The CPU in this has no pins, is just contacts on the chip. The pins are in the motherboard, like the new 7000 series Ryzen.

My favorite software acronym is PINCE, the reverse engineering tool that's similar to Cheat Engine in Winblols, that stands for PINCE Is Not Cheat Engine.
